Zentangle: From Donuts to Flowers

This post is in response to It's a String Thing (IAST) challenge #293. It has been a while since I have participated in a challenge or posted any tangles. By the way, this is my first IAST challenge.

IAST challenges always start with a string. I tend to shy away from strings, because they intimidate me. I'm a doodler. I prefer to just start and see where things go. Despite that, I thought I'd give this a try. The string consists of three donut shapes. Somehow, my donuts turned into flower shapes. But, they are round and they have a hole in the middle. So, it's all good!
